I am a video journalist and producer based in Washington D.C. and New York City. Iā€™m currently working as a video journalist at the BBC News where I report, produce, and edit daily news and enterprise videos for the web, social media, and broadcast.

I earned my masters in journalism with a specialization in documentary at Columbia Journalism School where I filmed and edited a 30-minute documentary that looks at issues of gender and religion through the lens of young women becoming traditional Catholic nuns in East Harlem and the Bronx.

Prior to journalism, I worked in the nonprofit sector where I spent eight years producing videos and multimedia stories covering areas including refugee resettlement, global public health, emergency response, and higher education. This work brought me around the world, giving me the opportunity to film and lead productions in over 20 countries and 12 states across the U.S.
